  1. We stayed at Baymont of Wyndham in Richmond. IN 7/21/23 through 7/24/23. Being located on US27 and Interstate 70 made an ideal location for getting around the area. The prices were very reasonable. The service was outstanding! We felt like we were in a B&B more than a hotel. The breakfasts were delicious with eggs waffles home made biscuits with sausage gravey and the other cold items such as cereal and beverages. The rooms were clean and did not have that stale stuffy smell so many small hotels seem to battle. The pool and facilities were well maintained. I currently have some health issues that make traveling difficult and the management was very flexible about check in and check out time and did everything they could to make our stay a joy. I grew up near here and will definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family when they visit.

  2. The 25th of July was the date I made a booking, but I had to cancel at the last minute. In addition to cancelling the request online, sending an email, and contacting the hotel, I spoke to someone who assured me that the booking had been cancelled. My husband and I tried going to one of the ibis hotels in Glasgow, but we were told that we went to the wrong one. The nice guy gave us directions to try and find the hotel, as he himself said I wasn’t sure where it was. When we went over a bridge and intersection to find ibis budget Glasgow, we weren’t successful. That was when I decided to call the number again to confirm the booking had been canceled. Although they said they would cancel it, my account was debited £252 instead. After calling again, I was told I needed to speak with expedia as I made the reservation through them. When I contact them, I am told that it is not them, but ibis hotel because they are the ones who take the payment. After going back to the fort. According to them, they will only charge me for one night and refund the rest. I have been going back and forth trying to get a refund since July. The refund process is supposed to take 7-10 working days and I was told to go back to Expedia, but my bank statement still shows Ibis budget hotel, so every company is blaming the next. Only to be told that that the payment is lost since it was a no show. I contacted the hotel as well as sent an email asking for the cancellation and also used their virtual chat, but I still may be charged. The website states that cancellations made before 14:00 on the day of the booking will not be charged. However, I was charged even though I was able to do so before. I believe their phone records are kept, so they can check that I rang to cancel the booking. Don’t book with Hotel.com or Expedia, because they are not very helpful and simply blame one another when you want your refund. Check the reviews on Ibis budget hotel before making a reservation. CitizenM hotel in Glasgow is one of the best hotels so far in Glasgow, located in the city center, and is an excellent choice for a great hotel in Glasgow.
