  2. I highly recommend NOT to USE UBER EATS.
    1. They advertise on there webpage one time that your food will be delivered and then it never ever shows up at that time. It’s actually false advertising on there behalf.
    2. You pay there delivery fee & then your driver ends up delivery someone’s else food before yours, a service that you’ve paid for gets shared with others and the time you receive your food, it’s cold and so not eatable.
    3. I ordered food recently, waited 50 minutes for it, it got picked up by a Uber delivery driver & then 10 minutes later, I received a email saying mu order was canceled & never showed after me waiting 50 minutes for it. Uber took the money out of my account & I had to wait 5 days for my refund which was unbelievable. Uber proves the worse service I’ve ever experienced. Highly don’t recommend them. Menu log is way better

  3. What a scamming company! We ordered through the app, canceled immediately (realizing that Uber Eats added over $30 worth of fees), confirmed with the restaurant that the order was canceled and they had NOT started making out food, and then attempted several times to contact Uber Eats to confirm the cancellation. Incidentally, they were having “phone difficulties, please try again later,” and they did not respond to our email. A month and a half later, and we are still trying to get some of our funds back (we would even take the food at this point! LOL)! Uber Eats said (via Twitter) said that we did not contact them within 48 hours (even we did email within 15 minutes the same day of the order), the bank said that the Uber Eats sent them confirmation that the restaurant had already started making the food (even though we got confirmation from the restaurant that they did not), and the restaurant told us that, even though they had not started our food (and I’m sure they received money for it), we would have to deal with Uber Eats directly! Ugh! Needless to say, the Uber Eats app has been uninstalled from our devices, and we will not use them again. Unfortunately, this was a $161 mistake:( Goodbye Uber Eats! Hope others read this, and decide that they do not want to be ripped off by such a crap company!

  4. This company is GARBAGE. I will NEVER use Uber Eats again. They are terrible. Waited for 2 hours. 4 different drives. 4 different estimated not later than times. DROVE TO THE RESTAURANT MYSELF – had to go over the bridge. Cancelled the damn order and we arrive only to find out the driver picked it up. The driver called us and we asked to still deliver it since SHE HAD THE FOOD. she said okay hung up and WE NEVER GOT THE FOOD. uber says they’ll refund. Hangry is a real thing and this company is a f*** scam.

  6. IN MY OPINION – Do not trust Uber Eats. Ordered food with them and it never arrived. The driver said there was no house number and would not return with the food because he had already been paid. Next, it said on the website that the food had been delivered to a neighbour’s address. We asked people at said address and no-one had been there. The Uber Eats driver obviously lied. We paid money and did not receive the food. I would never trust them again. Uber support were no help either. What a load of cowboys! Feels like a scam.

The driver called me and confirmed my address the order never arrived , it was then cancelled as apparently the driver couldn’t find it , liar he just couldn’t be bothered , called restaurant who say they have had lots of issues with the drivers, so why use them? Managed to email customer services who don’t listen or care to the fact their drivers are liars , don’t use this company and continue to make them millions , will never use again

    1. Ordered pork ribs. Got a small piece of lamb rib not R160 worth. It smells bad. Could not even bite it it is tuff
      Phoned steers they saif i must get my money back by you. I think my dog wont even eat it. Very disapointed

  14. Uber eats is unapologetically unresponsive. If you have an issue with an order & message/ report the issue they will NOT get back to you on time or give you a refund for drivers mistakes. I’ve been such a loyal customer to Ubereats but I’m truly fed up, I’ve HAD IT.
    Do not use this app.
    Bolt food is more responsive, efficient & listens to their customers complaints.
    A little story time: A Ubereats driver stole my food as I paid via card and I still haven’t heard a response from Ubereats to resolve the problem. Yesterday my order was totally wrong and when I reposted it nothing..then again my point proven Ubereats S***.
    I can’t fathom how much money I’ve wasted on that F**** APP.

    1. literally same thing just happened to me. was just on the phone w them for an hour because it detected the wrong address (from current location) & i realized & canceled not even 30 seconds later & said they would not give me my money back because the restaurant already started preparing my order. how did they prepare my order in 30 seconds… i was just trying to change the address but it would not let me so i canceled & tried to reorder but i realized they would not give me my money back so i didn’t reorder. they would still get their money regardless so i’m not understanding but safe to say i will never be ordering from uber eats ever again.

  15. Ubereates sent me an email with a promo code for first time time orders. I apply the cod, it said, oops an error happened, this code had been used. I contacted ubereats they said I needed to contact them within 48 hrs of the order. There website said within thirty days.

    I want to express my dissatisfaction with the level of customer service I experienced during my recent order. I made multiple attempts to contact the driver via phone calls, but each time the call was abruptly cut off.

    Furthermore, the allotted 7 minutes for the driver to locate the address was insufficient. Despite my efforts to reach out via text, I received no response, indicating a lack of effort on the driver’s part to locate the address (past orders the drivers have successfully found the address). This combined with subpar customer service and the absence of a direct number has left me with a negative impression, leading me to decide not to use Uber Eats in the future. I had since placed a second order that evening with Deliveroo which was delivered without any issues!!

    Giving the fact that my order was not delivered, it can be perceived that my payment was unjustly taken without providing the expected service. Truly disappointed.

  17. Absolute horrible experience with UberEats last night. Order was suddenly canceled by the driver Jeymillie. No explanation. Customer Service said driver showed up at the restaurant and was told some of the items were not available so the driver canceled the order. Called the restaurant, they said ‘bs’. The order was there and being prepared and the driver Jeymillie never showed up at the restaurant. My guess is Jeymillie wasn’t happy with the 15% tip. Who knows? And I can’t leave a review for Jeymillie apparently because the order was never delivered.
